Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Fitoor’ featuring Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif is making the right buzz just ahead of its much anticipated trailer launch.
Yesteryear diva Rekha, who was supposed to be a part of Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming film, had walked out of the project after starting shooting for the film and at the time, it had been suggested that she has bowed out of the film because of her dispute with Kapoor over her look in the film. However now, looks like the real reason of it has been revealed!
According to the reports of a media daily, it seems, the character that Rekha was essaying in the film that of a Begum, was very similar to her real life and so it was very difficult and uncomfortable for her to be playing herself on screen. Rekha realized the similarities between the character and her real life as the film progressed and so decided to opt out of the film.
The makers of the film signed up Tabu to play the role after Rekha walked out and we hear that Rekha’s look in the film is quite similar to that of Rekha.
We wonder what Rekha has to say to this!
Fitoor, which also featuring Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif is based on Charles Dickens’ ‘Great Expectations’.
