After striking gold at the box-office, twice over, with Kangana Ranaut, in Tanu Weds Manu and its sequel, filmmaker Aanand L Rai is all set to forge a new K…K…K… K… connection with a Khan now, Shah Rukh Khan.

Speculations have been rife for a while about the two collaborating. Now, Mirror has learnt that the duo has finally agreed on a project and SRK will listen to Rai’s narration once he wraps up Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale.

A source close to the project confirms this saying, “Yes Aanand has met and discussed a story with Shah Rukh which he liked, immensely. This film will definitely be made, but the paperwork is yet to be completed.”

May be that’s the reason why none of the parties, and this includes the director, wish to comment on the subject till the first week of September. However, according to the source, the film will go on the floors next year, after Shah Rukh finishes Rahul Dholakia’s Raees and Maneesh Sharma’s Fan. It will be produced under Shah Rukh Khan’s banner and according to the buzz, he’s playing a dwarf in the film. However, on this the source is hesitant to clarify, “There is no clarity on the role yet.”

The actor is currently in Iceland picturising a romantic song with Kajol for Dilwale. It is being choreographed by Farah Khan. And Anand is busy with the prep of his production, Happy Bhaag Jayegi, featuring Abhay Deol and Diana Penty. It will be helmed by Mudassar Aziz. There’s been talks of a Raanjhanaa 2 and a Tanu Weds Manu 3 as well, but Aanand doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to announce these franchises. For now, only King K…K…K…Khan is on his mind.
